What did we do last year?

What did we do last year?

The first festival offered a wide range of activities for everyone's taste!

The festival was opened with a great exhibition of one of the best contemporary photographers, the great Boris Cvjetanović, who presented the cross section of his life-long work in the Gallery of the Photo Club Split. Several workshops were held as part of the festival, all catered to different age groups; the photographers presented themselves through Photo Talks and portfolio overviews, and some of the top brands of photography equipment presented and promoted the latest technical trends.

The visitors were led through the magical world of photography by amazing lectures of some of the greatest in Croatian photography: Matko Biljak, Stipe Božić, Paun Paunović and Duška Boban. One of the biggest photography festivals in Europe organized by the association Organi Vida, shared their interpretation of photography from the perspective of the contemporary curator practise. The numbers are as follows: 16 days, two exhibitions, ten lectures, five presentations, four workshops, one portfolio overview and one auction.

All this was made possible with the hard work of many volunteers whose greatest reward was an excellent turn out and great reactions from the audience which encourages us to make the next festival better.
