The finalists of the “Framing the City” photo competition have been announced

The fourth edition of the international photography festival Split Format, organized by the Fotoklub Split, will take place from October 14 to November 14, 2024, and this year's main theme  is "diSTopia City." As part of the festival, a photography competition titled "Framing the City" has been announced.

After the competition concluded, which received 16 entries from 3 countries, 5 finalists were selected. The jury consisted of five distinguished experts in their respective fields:

• Ivana Bošnjak, art historian and curator (Croatia)
• Pierpaolo Mittica, photographer and director (Italy)
• Sandi Bulimbašić, art historian (Croatia)
• Aleksandar Tomulić, photographer (Croatia)
• Rudi Uran, photographer and director (Slovenia)

The finalists of the "Framing the City" photo competition are:

• Tomislav Petković (Croatia)
• Zoe Šarlija (Croatia)
• Marin Margeta (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
• Nenad Martić (Croatia)
• Damir Borčić (Croatia)

The announcement of the winner and the award ceremony will take place during the finalists' exhibition at the festival opening on October 14, 2024, at 8 PM in the Photo Gallery of the Photo Club Split  (Marmontova 5, Split).
