Colours

Members of the Photo Club Split, Iris Ban and Diana Junaković will present additive and subtractive synthesis of colour. Through two basic mixing of colours: additive (the working principle of sensors in cameras, mobile phones, monitors, video, TV – RGB display) and subtractive (the mixing colours system used in all kinds of printing processes – CMYK), we will show the reproduction of colours achieved through different synthesis. With the additive approach, this is achieved through three sources of light – reflectors of different colours (RGB) – that will be put through glass prisms and this will overlap 3D objects into a wide array of colours and will be projected on a white surface. The visitors will be able to take pictures of the projections which they will assemble themselves. The subtractive will be presented through different filters and their overlaps, and the visitors will be able to mix the colours and draw themselves.
